The circa 1850 Claiborne Kyle Log House is a rare four-pen dogtrot log home that still stands on its original site, perched on a bluff along the Blanco River near Kyle, Texas. This historic property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and is a designated State Antiquities Landmark, and Recorded Texas Historic Landmark. It is owned by Hays County and managed by the Claiborne Kyle Log House Commission.
